    F135 Heavy Maintenance Center Master Scheduler (On-Site)

    Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) Scheduler duties will include, but not be limited to:

    Provide daily short- and long-term planning of engines/modules.

    Utilize SAP, Excel, and DOME tools to plan inductions and control shop work-in-process (WIP) levels.

    Monitor gated metrics and communicate impacts to the schedule

    Maintain and report HMC performance data.

    Update production status boards (physical and virtual).

    Facilitate communication between operations, materials, and quality at the shop-floor level to ensure priorities are clear.

    Participate in daily production meetings as required to communicate schedule requirements.

    Build and maintain productive relationships with USAF OC-ALC counterparts in support of the HMC.

    Actively participate in continuous improvement system. (Including implementation of TPM, QCPC, MFA, standard work, process certification, etc.)

    Lead and/or participate in complex planning, data projects and parametric studies

    Basic Requirements:

    BS/BA or HS Diploma/GED and 10+ years in aviation production scheduling.

    High degree of confidence with Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Project, required.

    Proficiency in SAP is required.

    Travel, over time, and weekend work schedule may be required.

    US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    2+ years’ experience in shop operation, maintenance/ repair/ overhaul preferred.

    Candidate must be detailed oriented, and data driven.

    Experience using SAP, Configurator, CEMP and/ or other similar Technical Engine data base systems, is a significant plus.

    Operational experience in MRO engine facility is a significant plus.

    Candidate must be a good communicator across many levels of shop operations and senior management.

    Candidate must be able to balance multiple constraints to schedule work to achieve required engine turn-around-times.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Proficient in MS Excel including, formatting workbooks and sheets, creating and editing formulas, data management, data archiving.

    Successful candidate must be able to work independently on a wide variety of tasks.

    Successful candidate must demonstrate commitment to the Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and International Trade & Compliance (ITC) programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all EH&S & ITC committee activities.

    Travel, over time, and weekend work schedule may be required.

    What is my role type?

    In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:

    Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

    Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

    Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

    Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

    Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project

    management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

    Typically requires:

    A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

    Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

    Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
