    The OKC Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) Aftermarket Production Coordinator (APC) in the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (ALC) primary area of responsibility will be providing overall leadership for the HMC depot partnering and operations. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Project Manage assigned modules through Gates 1-4
    • Create and maintain project plans for each module to track work progress, identify future roadblocks, and forecast completion.
    • Responsible for keeping the module on schedule by executing forward looking planning to prevent issues, get issues that do come up resolved in a timely manner, and escalating urgent issues to Operations leadership.
    • Present module status in production meetings including providing updates that represent a full picture of the factual module status and highlighting critical path issues.
    • Accountable for closure of gate specific tasks prior to gate forecasted closure date.
    • In this regard, the APC will work closely with P&W Logistics Program Management team, other P&W Military Maintenance Services entities, P&W Support Equipment Operations, and United States Air Force personnel, to deliver an MRO facility that meets stated customer objectives. 
    • Document all work-stops and inefficiencies through QCPC/Constraint card turnback entries.
    • Recommend, participate in, and drive closure of CORE process improvement efforts to reduce systemic issues affecting the efficiency of the system or the quality of the product.
    • Compliance with all EH&S, ISO, Business Practices, ITAR, Import/Export and Company/government policies/procedures. 
    • Be flexible to work 1st/2nd shift and weekends.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university w/minimum 5 years of experience OR 
    • Advanced degree from an accredited college/university w/minimum 3 years of experience 
    • Operational management experience and leadership experience 
    • Skilled in multi-tasking 
    • Highly skilled communicator with an ability to maintain productive relationships in difficult situations 
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and project management skills 
    • Familiar with tooling, hand tools, material processing/handling and equipment in an aerospace engine overhaul and repair environment 
    • The ability to work in cross-functional teams on a wide variety of tasks and with limited supervision 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint 

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with the F135 program in a production, overhaul, or manufacturing environment
    • Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and other analytical tools
    • Ability to use the CORE operating system to apply lean techniques in an overhaul environment
    • Demonstrated analytical skills coupled with global business perspective
    • Experience with using Solumina and SAP

    Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

    Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

    Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

    Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

    Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project

    management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

    Typically requires:

    A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

    Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

    Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
