Pratt & Whitney (P&W) Military Engines F135 International Sustainment is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented International Site Activation & Transition Manager with strong communication skills, to establish and baseline new sites and customers within Sustainment. This unique position within Sustainment is a customer facing role that will support International Partners and foreign military sales (FMS) customers from the time they sign a contract to join the F135 program until just prior to first aircraft arrival (FAA) when the program will be transitioned to the Country Logistics Program Manager (LPM). As part of this role, you will work closely with the Regional Managers on hiring Field Service Engineers (FSE) and assisting their transition to the site to which they are hired. This position works closely with all F135 Sustainment functions as well as Integrated Customer Solutions (ICS), Site Activation, Global Asset Management (GAM), and Global Mobility. A successful candidate will have the ability to build trust and strong working relationships with customers, partners, and internal organizations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Work in an integrated fashion with all P&W Sustainment value streams and advocate for specific customer requirements for new site activations, to include Support Equipment, Supply Chain, Global Asset Management (GAM), Global Trade Compliance (GTC), Integrated Customer Solutions (ICS) and Site Activation.
Assist ICS team in activities to stand up new customers to the F135 program to ensure sustainment responsibilities are taken into consideration.
Participate and represent P&W at necessary government meetings to include Sustainment Readiness Review (SRR) and Program Management Reviews (PMR).
Ensure all communications with customers are conducted in accordance with specifications and limitations in the appropriate country TAA.
Assist site activation team in base activations as required by ensuring that customer expectations and requirements are met.
Ensure funding is identified to meet customer unique requirements, including alignment of contract negotiations with JPO and customer requirements defined through interaction at PMRs and other events and the weapon system planning document.
Prepare and deliver executive level presentations to internal and external customers on sustainment related matters related to site activation and stand-up of international FMS customers.
Participate in the hiring and on-boarding process for International FSEs with the Regional Managers.
Facilitate ex-pat/FSE transition in and out of country, collaborating regularly with Sirva and Fragoman to ensure policies are understood and followed.
Advocate for FSE when Raytheon short/long term international assignee policy does not meet actual requirements.
Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?
BS/BA degree required.
10+ years of customer service or program management experience in an aviation related field.
US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
Possess or ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance.
Or these Preferred Qualifications?
Strong communication skills
Ability to problem solve independently and within teams outside of International Sustainment
CORE certification or equivalent process improvement experience
Flexible and Adaptable individual who can switch-task daily
Knowledge of TAAs, GTC/ITAR Requirements
F135 program familiarity
Previous experience as a Logistics Program Manager or Field Service Engineer

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Typically requires:

in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited
by local laws/regulations.
