Pratt & Whitney is seeking a qualified Program Manager to lead Performance Based Logistics (PBL) within the F135 Program Office, ensuring the Reliability, Maintainability & Safety (RMS) of the Propulsion System for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Logistics Program Management (LPM) is responsible for implementing the Military Engines procedure for Fleet Readiness Excellence to: (1) Collect and Trend Fleet Data; (2) Analyze the Data and Forecast Demand; (3) Develop the Readiness Plan; (4) Communicate and Confirm the Plan; and (5) Execute the Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify top degraders to Propulsion System readiness;
  • Integrate Engineering & Logistics disciplines within the Supportability IPT (SuIPT) & Customer Service IPT (CSIPT) to develop root cause corrective action, to publish Engineering Change proposals (ECPS) inclusive of Retrofit Plans, and to implement Time Compliant Technical Directives (TCTDs) or Service Bulletins (SBs);
  • Project manage routine, emerging issue, and critical safety campaign implementation for Engineering Changes (ECs), Major Variance Requests (MVRs), Stop Delivery Orders (SDOs), Quality Notifications (QNs), and Time Compliant Technical Directives (TCTDs);
  • Execute Product Support Analysis and Health Reporting, Enact the Agile Operating System, and Engage cross-functionality to sustain F135 Fleet Readiness about 94%.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ work experience in Project, Manufacturing or Service Engineering, or 5+ years in Project, Manufacturing or Service Engineering work experience with an advanced degree.
  • 3+ years’ working knowledge of EVMS, IMS and Program/Project management.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Applied Knowledge of F-35/F135 Sustainment Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
  • Proficiency with Product Support Analysis (PSA), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Technical Publications, Teamcenter and Enterprise/Material Resource Planning (ERP/MRP)
