The F135 Program Risk Manager (RM) is responsible with leading and executing Risk & Opportunity Management for the F135 Propulsion System that powers the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF).
You will guide the F135 IPMT in the establishment of the F135 Top Program Risks & Opportunities.
As part of the F135 PMO and Program Integration Team, the F135 RM will work closely with PW and F-35 JSF Joint Program Office (JPO) leadership to develop plans, execute, provide regular progress updates, and meet Risk Management related Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) government requirements.
What You Will Do:
Identify program risks (Technical, Schedule, Cost) and develop mitigation plans working closely with Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPTs) who own each of the risks
Conduct regular risk mitigation status reviews with PW program leadership and JPO leadership
Report risk status at internal and external risk management reviews; create and deliver risk management CDRL deliverables to military customer
Use risk management tools effectively to maintain commonality and collaborate with various functions in the organization
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Engineering or a Scientific/Technical Field
A minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience, including experience with Risk Management methodologies and familiarity with risk management tools and processes, ability to mentor risk owners on RM processes.
At least 3 years of managerial, supervisory and leadership experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Advanced Degree in Project Management, Engineering or a Scientific/Technical Field
Project Management Institute "Project Management Professional" or "Risk Management Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work on a remote/dispersed team and collect data on a regular basis
Proven ability to balance multiple priorities, create achievable plans, and work with minimal daily supervision.
Knowledge of jet engine operation and sustainment
Experience working with military customers and being comfortable presenting to both military and company leadership.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
