Job Summary:
The Engine Design and System Integration (EDSI) Commercial Engines organization is focused on delivering systems solutions to meet customer requirements, driving engineering quality and productivity, while developing the next generation of systems engineers.
The Operational Commercial Engines EDSI team is frontline keeping the legacy commercial and military transport / tanker fleets flying safely. EDSI OCE system engineer prime mission is to ensure fleet wide safety, reliability, maintainability while driving a profitable business result.
This position is highly inter-disciplinary as you will work across multiple EDSI programs and interacting with internal and external stakeholders. Travel opportunities may arise depending on project assignments and requirements. Strong technical and communication skills required to drive technical issues to closure, drive resolution to safety issues and to clearly communicate with external customers and the FAA. Candidates with more extensive team leadership experience will be considered for expanded roles in EDSI; those with experience in a portion of the above responsibilities will be evaluated for development and growth opportunities while fulfilling a technical leadership role with support.
