    Job Summary:

    The Strategic Engagement Systems (SES) Product Area of Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst for the competitive Glide Phase Interceptor (GPI) program. The GPI program is a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) program that will extend the family of Standard Missile 3 products through an evolutionary design extension. The GPI program will be awarded in phases, an acceleration phase was awarded in November 2021, with follow on Phase 1 awards in June and November 2022 and increase expected in February 2023. Additional follow-on phase anticipated April 2023, and multiple other phases over 2024 – 2028, including development and LRIP, totaling more than $1B. Competitive down-select anticipated late 2023.

    This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity (remote and/or onsite) and is based on the needs of the business. When working onsite it may be up to 1-2 days per week. The preferred candidate will be located within a commutable distance to Tucson, AZ.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate: 

    • Support of Fixed Price Development internal Earned Value (EV) contracts.  

    • Support of all program financial aspects including financial planning (5-yr, AOP, working capital, monthly financial performance reporting and NBI)

    • Program controls such as developing estimates at completion (EACs) and execution of EV management. 

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related 

    • Typically requires 2 years of finance/accounting experience 

    • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines

    • Excellent computer proficiency skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) 

    • Experience in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to management and peers 

    • The ability to obtain and maintain a US secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. 

    Qualifications We Value:

    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) when interfacing with all levels of the company 

    • Ability to drive change and influence beyond authority level 

    • Active Secret DoD security clearance 

    • Experience and understanding of the Program Business role, APEX, Earned Value (EVMS), and/or experience of Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) concepts
