Position Role Type:

The candidate will be responsible for the compliant packaging and shipping of HAZMAT material to include the creation and approval of all dangerous goods declarations. The candidate will also support Supply chain in the ordering and procurement of HAZMAT material in support of program requirements as well as coordinate the disposal of hazardous waste out of the facility. The candidate may also be required to perform a wide variety of tasks related to the incoming and outgoing of program and facility materials and equipment.
Candidate is required to Influence and educate others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices and is responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in systems and/or processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of the work area.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to obtain certification to ship HAZMAT material under DOT, IATA, IMDG
Need to complete DES Hazardous waste disposal and spill response
Training on DGIS, TCMIS and ALCS software
Manage chemical inventory utilizing ALCS shelf- life report, and manual inventory
Ability to assist our package department with Hazmat battery shipments
Prepare and package HAZMAT shipments in a timely manner
Required Skills:
Previous experience in Logistics related activities
Operation of Warehouse Material handling equipment
Able to lift 28 lbs.
Computer proficient
Good Communication skills and the ability to function in a team environment
Ability to work with limited supervision
Extremely detail oriented
Prior safety knowledge
Must be able to obtain IATA, IMDG and DOT certification within 3 months of hire
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of the Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS)
Knowledge of PRISM
Knowledge of IATA, IMDG and DOT
Required Clearance:
Future clearance may be required
Required Education:
BA and min. of 2 Yrs. Relevant experience
Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs
or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior
relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Location: Nashau, NH
