    Position Overview:

    This position is for an Industrial Engineer that applies Industrial Engineering concepts, techniques, analysis and decision tools to promote and implement changes in manufacturing operations. Designs simple assembly line and sequence of operations. Improves efficiency in the process utilizing Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools.

    Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.  Regardless of your role type, collaboration and innovation are critical to our business and all employees will have access to digital tools so they can work with colleagues around the world – and access to Collins sites when their work requires in-person meetings

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Perform time studies of the operations to create work balance charts.

    • Analyze current layout and process flow to propose and implement improvements.

    • Develop TPM instructions for key work stations and train personnel.

    • Update documentation such as standard work instructions, zero energy procedures, operations checklists.

    • Resources production tools and implements presentation on work stations.

    • Monitors metrics to update on monthly reports.

    • Generates and procures critical spare parts list for production equipment

    Basic Qualifications

    • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

    • Must be a US Person/Permanent Resident "green card" holder
