We have an opportunity for an Industrial Manager to be based in Columbus, GA.

Summary:

The Columbus Forge Team at Pratt and Whitney is looking for outstanding individuals with solid communication, analytical, and project management skills who are looking to gain exposure and advance their career within Raytheon Technologies.  This organization offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain experience across the enterprise with exposure to the entire organization that makes our business run.

Description:

In this role, you will serve as the interface between the Program Integrated Product Management Team (IPMT) and Pratt and Whitney Operations with respect to Industrial Planning and Execution of the 24K Common Core; consisting of the High Pressure Compressor, Diffuser / Combustor, and High Pressure Turbine modules and supporting hardware.

IPMT member organizations include Engineering, Quality, Partnerships, Program Management, and Finance as well as other Operations organizations including Mod Centers, Operations Excellence, and SIOP.

You will be responsible for supporting communications, cross-functional alignment, Industrial risk identification, and risk mitigation efforts for part and module schedule and deliveries.

You will play a key role in the achievement of Program milestones through alignment of Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain organizational plans and initiatives to Program and Customer priorities and commitments.

You will also play a key role in the successful Industrialization and Entry-Into-Service of 24K engine programs at Pratt & Whitney and Pratt & Whitney Canada.

This is a unique opportunity to gain critical experience across a broad range of Pratt and Whitney organizations while having a direct impact on the financial success of the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

•Ensure requirements for Common Core parts & modules are established by Program and supported by Mod Center, CIPT, and Value Stream Industrial Plans

•Analyze, identify, and escalate Industrial risks to production build requirements in the medium to long term through the Heatmap process

•Collaborate with Mod Center and cross-functional leaders on planning and execution of critical Industrial actions to support customer requirements

•Facilitate material allocation decisions for Program critical hardware

•Support EC War Room and PCIR activities including review and approval of Industrial Plans for Engineering Changes

•Lead continuous improvement activities to improve key processes and ensure customer on-time delivery

•Executive presentation and Program reporting on deliveries, risks, and Industrial initiatives

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience or, an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years relevant experience.

•US Citizenship required due to government contracts

•Occasional domestic and international travel

Preferred Qualifications:

•Operations experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Shop floor Management is Preferred. Technical experience in Engineering or Program Management experience is a plus.

•Proficiency with SAP transactions and analysis also preferred.
