    Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking DevOps IAC Engineer in Aurora CO. Relocation assistance available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements.

    The DevOps IAC Engineer is accountable for a continuous, repeatable, secure and automated deploy, integration, and test solutions utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps techniques in support of mission critical advanced ground system solutions. Infrastructure engineers work closely with cyber to ensure security controls are met and they also work closely with software engineers, systems engineers, and implementation teams to ensure performance and deployment compliance.

    NOTE: This position is required to be on site, however some Hybrid support may be performed. The ideal candidate must be Local and able and willing to drive into the Raytheon location in Aurora CO to support design test and selloff. Additionally, support for the project may require travel (<10%) to support at the customer facilities in Boulder Colorado, Buckley AFB (Aurora CO), or Schriever AFB (CO Springs).

    Responsibilities include:

    • IaC, testing, and delivering within a DevSecOps framework

    • Support of several complex on/off premises compute environments that form the backbone for the operational deployment

    • Perform documentation updates

    Clearance requirements:

    The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.  U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
     

    Required Skills:

    • Scripting utilizing Languages such as; Ruby, Python, Bash, Shell

    • Experience with Linux System Administration

    • Experience with automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible (preferred), SaltStack, Fabric or similar products for O/S builds

    • Ability to obtain Security Plus within 90 days of start

    Desired Skills:

    • Current Security Plus Certification

    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)

    • Experience in Containerization using tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, OpenStack

    • Experience with design, installation and test of COTS Infrastructures

    • Working knowledge of networks and storage

    • Understanding of CI/CD development/maintenance/troubleshooting with automation servers (Jenkins) in all phases of a DevOps pipeline

    Required Education and Experience:

    Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years' relevant or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations

    The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
