In anticipation of an upcoming contract award, RI&S is posting this opportunity

Raytheon Technologies is looking for a cleared IT Analyst/Engineering Support to provide threat identification and technical assessments of cyber threat trends and actors by using a variety of cyber threat intelligence sources. 

Key responsibilities:

• Provides research, analysis and assessments of current threat trends and events using advanced collection, research and analysis of classified and open-source data and information

• Conduct detailed analysis of incidents, threats, vulnerabilities, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP), and other malicious and non-malicious indicators

• Analyze, document process flow, functional requirements, and change request, translate user requirements into feasible solutions

• Participate in meetings, providing status updates of action item

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience. Additional work experience or Cyber courses/certifications may be substituted in lieu of degree

• Good understanding of business processes and analysis

• Experience with automated configuration management systems

• Experience with defensive cyber and information technology best practices

• Experience with stored documents, text-based searches, digitization, scanning, and archival of documents

• In-depth understanding of the life cycle of network threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation with good knowledge of intrusion tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) 

• Ability to diagnose hardware and software problems with minimal supervision

• Experience with networking systems and protocols

• Strong written and verbal communication Skills.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of stand-alone automated configuration systems (Chef Solo, Ansible, Kickstart)

• IC/Military experience in support of Intelligence collection operations

Education:

Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline and a minimum of Five (5) years of experience
