We are seeking an IT Operations Manager to perform complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program.

This position will support an enterprise Information Technology Operations & Maintenance (O&M) program onsite in Chantilly, VA.

Summary of job duties:

Plan, execute, and close projects that meet or exceed customer objectives. May manage small projects or processes and work with program partners to ensure successful completion and transition to operations team. Ensures that staff know and execute their respective roles and the roles of other team members. Ensure project schedules are met and system resources are used effectively. Ensures proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services. Personnel management tasks to include, employee evaluations, schedules, training, timecard reviews. Maintain day to day site operations ensuring all customer measurement guidelines are met and projects are completed on time. Provide weekly and quarterly presentations to the customer. Work closely with management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active and in-scope U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with C.I. Polygraph.

Basic Qualifications - Required Skills, Experience:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of directly related IT operations experience

Proficient experience with Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Demonstrated experience performing basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution

Desired Qualifications:

An active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND
