Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Program Manager (PM) willing to work in a fast paced environment to assist program members to design, develop integrate and maintain enterprise applications to support a challenging strategic program for a high profile customer. The PM will help identify best practices, for repeating and standardizing workflows and providing guidance on how to best approach new technology integration. This role requires someone with proven experience as a PM who possesses strong analytical and program management skills. The candidate must be able to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously throughout the organization. The PM will be involved in recording and evaluating requirements, tracking multiple teams’ progress through a succession of agile methodologies in coordination with the Scrum Master: Release, Train, Engineer; Program Manager: coordination of multiple project schedules against larger office-level schedules.
Duties Tasks & Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate program management process activities
Manage requirements to include input of new requirements, refinement of requirements, and creation and maintenance of boards and reports
Create and maintain reporting from enterprise requirements management tool
Assist in the preparation of management plans and reports
Skills (Required):
Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, fast paced environment with a willingness to assist and support the team with evolving requirements and objectives
Five (5) or more years in technical project or program management with full lifecycle software development
Excellent analytic and communication skills to help build and document processes, policies, and job aids
Develops plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program(s)
Previous experience supporting IT software projects
Knowledge of agile framework, processes, and principle
Ability to professionally interact with senior level personnel
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
Minimum of 5 years of Sponsor experience
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 10 years of experience and/or Master's degree with 8 years of experience.
Skills (Desired):
PMP
Experience working in Sponsor’s enterprise requirements management tool
Ability to facilitate meetings
Proficient in PM software including MS Project and Visio
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools as well as direct work experience in a project management capacity to include PMF, RMF and Agile software development practices
Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with poly and be eligible for crossover.
Requires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have deep knowledge of project management. Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and
ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs
or systems.
Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years
prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree
in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited
by local laws/regulations.
