Raytheon is looking for a Logistics Specialist to participate in the development and execution of program unique requirements of property control and product support to fielded sites.  This program role will develop into the liaison between the program, the customer field sites, the customer program office, and the Raytheon Supply Chain Management NTX Property team. 

The successful candidate will help define program unique efforts in coordination with and following North Texas Property Management policies and procedures.  The person will facilitate property control improvement activities for a variety of contract types ensuring continual accountability of customer owned property in accordance with applicable Government regulations and company policy.  A large part of this job includes developing, launching, and delivering continual education and continuous improvement of unique business processes and procedures that allows Raytheon to maintain compliance.   The position may require travelling to customer locations to assist with continuing education and local process improvements.  The selected candidate will work in the product support team to record and maintain accountability of products and property in customer and Raytheon databases as the items transitions between customer locations.  Also, will leverage lean principles to streamline product support activities and enable leaner operations at fielded sites.

Security Clearance: An active US Top Secret/SSBI Clearance is required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience

• Knowledgeable in applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.245-1

• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products

• Effective communication skills – ability to listen, communicate, and produce effective written communication

• Previous inventory management or item manager experience

• Must have effective analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must have effective skills in communication/presentation (oral and written) with Program Management, Manufacturing, Property Control, Contracts, Engineering, and customers

• Must be self-motivated and possess strong independent and teaming skills

Qualifications We Value:

• NPMA CPPS certification

• Sig Sigma greenbelt certified or industry equivalent

• Lean Sigma or equivalent

Required Education:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM)
