Starting Wage: $31.70

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Perform electrical and related work involved in the maintenance of industrial and plant facilities, installation, repair and modification of electrical, electronic systems, controls and equipment.  
• Works with electrical code and safe working practices.
• Works with schematics, blueprints, verbal and written instructions.
• Repair, modify and maintain high voltage switch gear and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and repair numerical, computer and robotic controlled equipment and machines.
• Uses various troubleshooting, monitoring and testing equipment.
• Takes measures to prevent maintenance on facilities and manufacturing equipment, mechanisms and assemblies.
• Repairing public address.
• Ability to work any designated shift including overnight
• Ability to pass practical test within 90 days of hiring into this position or upon promotion.
• Troubleshoots and repairs fire alarm monitoring systems.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
• State Journeyman Electrician Card.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date.  U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

OR

• High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
• Four (4) years’ experience as an industrial electrical and/or electronic maintenance electrician with experience in the installation, troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical and/or electronic equipment, machines and assemblies.
• Experience with electrical code and safe working practices.
• Experience to work with schematics, blueprints, verbal and written instructions.
• Must pass qualifying and/or practical test.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

_This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement.  Wage and work place conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement.  Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
