Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate is responsible for predictive, preventative, corrective, basic care, and emergency maintenance on a variety of mechanical and systems to ensure safe, efficient and continuous plant production.
- Troubleshoot CNC machine systems in a timely manner.
- Support TPM and CORE initiatives.
- Implement 6S practices to keep work area clean and orderly.
- May be required to train for, obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits and certifications within assigned area.
- May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills.
- Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.
- Adhere to all EH&S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening 6:00PM to 6:00AM
- Must have the ability to perform basic mechanical diagnostics and repairs.
- Must have the ability to perform basic electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- Must have the ability to perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Must have a basic understanding of low voltage control systems.
- Must have a basic understanding of and respect for 3 phase machine power.
- Must have the ability to recognize operational inconsistencies and hazards, apply sound judgment, and work in a safe and efficient manner with minimal supervision.
- Must have strong written/verbal communication, math and problem-solving skills.
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Must have current CPR training or be willing to obtain certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to document basic electrical and mechanical equipment problems in SAP.
- Experience with Forklift or Arial Lift
- IT experience to trouble shoot CNC machine.
- Experience with 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.
$3,000 Sign On Bonus
Rehires, Internal, and RTX interdivisional transfers are not eligible for the sign on bonus.
