Summary of Responsibilities:

• Candidate is responsible for predictive, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on a variety of mechanical and systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant production.
• Act as shift point of contact for department. Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments.
• Direct junior technicians as required.
• Troubleshoot CNC machine systems in a timely manner.
• Support TPM and CORE initiatives.
• Implement 6S practices to keep work area clean and orderly.
• May be required to train for, obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits and certifications within assigned area.
• May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills
• Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required
• Adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to locate, identify, prioritize, troubleshoot, correct and document electrical and mechanical problems on equipment
• Must have a thorough knowledge in the removal and resetting of bearings, gears and seals.
• Must have strong understanding of low voltage control systems
• Must have strong knowledge with 3 phase machine power.
• Must have the ability to recognize operational inconsistencies and hazards, apply sound judgment, and work in a safe and efficient manner with minimal supervision.
• Strong written/verbal communication, math and problem-solving skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED
• US Citizenship required due to government contract

Preferred Qualification:

• 2-4 years of industrial maintenance experience.

• 4 years of industrial maintenance experience, knowledge of CNC control systems
