    We are looking for an experienced Manager, Contracts supporting the development of proposals, as well as management and administration of contracts for the F-35 program.

    What You Will Do:

    This individual contributor role will be responsible for participation in the requirements analysis of Request for Proposals (RFP), proposal strategy reviews and coordination, contract negotiation, contract administration, non-disclosure agreements, and other business agreements. Our contracts are Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Firm Fixed Price - Level of Effort (FFP-LOE), and Time and Material (T&M). Additionally, you will work as a collaborative team member with Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain and Legal to:

    • Interface with the customer on contracting matters and ensure that proposed and negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies, as well as advise program stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations and means to mitigate risks

    • Construct and submit proposals to win new business

    • Negotiate terms and conditions

    • Develop creative approaches to solving problems while employing sound change management and communication skills

    • Negotiate cost and price

    • Advise stakeholders of contractual rights/obligations

    • Manage contracts after award

    Skills and Requirements:

    • 8 years demonstrated US Government contract experience working with FAR and DFARS and other government regulations

    • Aptitude to review RFPs, proposals and contractual documents for contractual requirements and risks

    • Ability to lead proposal and contract negotiations to achieve business objectives while ensuring customer needs are met

    • Experience in performing as key contributor during the pre-proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation and start up phases of programs

    • Experience with multiple contract types (CPFF, FFP, FFP-LOE, T&M)

    • Experience in generating and negotiating proposals & contracts

    • Effective change management on contracts

    • Experience in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, or PowerPoint)

    Desired Skills:

    • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government clearance

    Required Education:

    Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years experience.

    The salary range for this role is 103,000 USD - 215,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
