    Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance for new hires

    We have an opportunity to join the Wilsonville, Oregon site as an EH&S Manager.  In this role, you would be responsible for site health, and continuing to enhance our World Class management systems, policies, and procedures. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with site leadership to complete an EH&S Annual Plan.  Provide strategic insight on the site’s EH&S program and overall development.
    • Work with team members and corporate subject matter experts on rollouts of corporate standards or guidance initiatives.
    • Participates as the EH&S subject matter expert on the site’s process/material change control board.
    • Manages relationships across other specialized departments to achieve and maintain compliance with EH&S regulations and RTX/Collins requirements.
    • Champions a positive and proactive safety culture through personal interaction and collaboration with all employees.
    • Coordinates a cross-functional team to annually evaluate the EH&S program.
    • Reporting: Assist with submission of regulatory agency compliance reporting as required by permit, Federal or State requirements. Examples include Wastewater, SPCC, Stormwater, RCRA SQG, SARA Tier II, 313 TRI, and mercury reporting.
    • Develops materials and implements EH&S training and communications on subjects required by regulations such as confined space, respiratory protection, compressed gases, electrical safety, ergonomics, etc. to achieve and maintain that procedures are understood and applied.
    • Perform monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual environmental compliance data collection and submission.
    • Contributes to required environmental regulatory reports and submissions to achieve and maintain standard work documentation.
    • Provides EH&S support to various EH&S related subcommittee.
    • Has responsibility for multiple EH&S specialties / programs.
    • May perform tasks associated with Health / Safety and Environmental / Compliance
    • Coordinates with business partners for EH&S concerns regarding facilities and employee practices.
    • Assist with incident investigations for injuries, environmental incidents, fires, spills, etc.
    • Organizes and maintains EH&S policies to achieve and maintain compliance with regulations.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience.
    • OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
    • OR In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
    • Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
    • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in a manufacturing/ general industry or related industry
    • Experience in leading, developing and conducting training
    • Forming, facilitating, and maintaining internal and cross functional teams and relationships
    • Project management experience
