    Job Summary:

    Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) offers an excellent opportunity to join our diverse, energetic, and collaborative environment in support of the Procurement section facilitating the Advanced Technologies mission area. In this role, you will foster relationships with suppliers and administer subcontracts in a fashion consistent with integrated supply chain models, recognizing the value of each participant through the acquisition life cycle from requirements generation through product delivery, product support, and payment for products and services.  You will engage in supplier performance, relationship management, strategic sourcing as well as facilitate complex business agreements in support of various prime contracts as well as Internal Research and Development projects.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    • Preparation and issuance of RFP’s
    • Perform cost analysis techniques in support of proposals
    • Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, Terms & Conditions)
    • Place subcontracts/purchase orders of medium/high complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFARS) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.)
    • Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors
    • Work closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, etc.) to achieve objectives
    • Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements (technical and quality) in support of flawless supplier execution for programs
    • Able to support travel as needed (up to 25%)
    • Must be able to 80% work on-site at the Tucson RMD location in Tucson, AZ

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Typically requires Bachelor’s degree and 8 of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 5 years of relevant experience
    • Experience in working with development type of procurement and major subcontracts
    • An active and in-scope Top Secret US security clearance
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

     Qualifications We Value:

    • Project planning and management skills (ex: MS Project, EVMS)

    • SAP based environment experience

    • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services – including Statement of Work (SOW) review

    • Familiarity with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

    • Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with FAR/DFARS

    • Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)

    • Assess proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)

    • SCI Security Access

    • Ability to safeguard proprietary information from working in a proprietary environment

    • Ability to generate and manage multiple Proprietary Information Agreements (PIAs) for customers with different missions and platforms
