Raytheon Airborne Spectrum Dominance is seeking a highly motivated manager to join our team. As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for all aspects and phases of program financial implementation. This role requires proactive guidance and significant interaction with Program Directors and functional partners to ensure alignment regarding plan, operational implementation, and financial targets. You will be a business partner to various functional teams and work in collaboration on the successful capture/implementation of proposals, Gate reviews, contract negotiations, and financial reporting.

The Finance Manager will facilitate oversight and overseeing of internal and customer deliverables and cadence to the organization. You must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as the ability to multitask across a variety of programs and product offerings. As a business partner, you will collaborate with the Program Managers and the functional leads to ensure the successful completion of monthly deliverables as well as AOP/LRP forecasting and maintenance.

This position is being offered in a hybrid capacity (remote or onsite) and is based on the needs of the business. The expectation is that this role will be ONSITE a couple times per month supporting a Program/Team that is predominantly based in the El Segundo, CA. The preferred candidate will be located within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate to that area. Relocation assistance is being provided.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Ensure adequate financial program controls.
  • Responsible for financial forecasting of key business metrics for their Program area.
  • Responsible for reviewing and approving financial deliverables for internal and external reviews (EACs, Program Reviews, Customer CDRLs, Earned Value, Gate Reviews)
  • Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, NBI management utilizing standard company tools and in compliance with standard processes.
  • Review financial reports, presentations and bids for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide oversight, guidance, and administration of EVM practices.
  • Responsible for mentoring and training a staff of 2-4 direct reports.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Experience in Program Controls and/or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solving skills: individual will need to be comfortable working through complex processes and systems changes.  
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead financial meetings.
  • Work in a self-guided manner under limited supervision and actively participate in strategic brainstorming sessions.
  • Ability to help facilitate the successful completion of major projects or processes.
  • Demonstrated excellent mathematical and critical thinking skills.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
