    Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) is seeking a Manager, Program Planner/Scheduler (Grade P4) to join the Tactical Execution Services (TES) department based out of Aurora, Colorado.  This position is the focal point for all matters pertaining to schedule on their assigned program or programs and will be directly accountable for adherence to Raytheon and government policies related to scheduling and earned value.

    Responsibilities include but not limited too:

    • Development of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) based on requirements provided by the customer as part of a Request For Proposal (RFP)

    • Development and maintenance of a resource loaded, executable IMS that is compliant to Raytheon, external customer, and government standards and requirements after contract award

    • Preparing for and supporting internal and external program reviews such as Gate Reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), internal and external joint surveillance reviews/audits (JSR/JSA), etc. that demonstrate thorough scope, cost, and schedule integration

    • Detail planning and maintenance throughout the program’s lifecycle that incorporates contractual and programmatic changes into the program IMS, to maintain realistic, current contract schedule baselines

    • Detailed analysis of the IMS and supporting documents to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance.  The weekly and monthly business rhythms will require communication (electronically and verbally) of schedule status including but not limited to, results of critical path analysis, schedule risk analysis (SRA), schedule variance analysis and the results of ‘what if’ exercises to the Program Manager, the customer and potentially to senior management.

    • Assist with the development and maintenance of the Program Master Phasing Schedule (MPS) and Integrated Master Plan (IMP).

    Requirements:

    • Typically candidates will have a Bachelors degree and 8+ years of direct program planning experience using MS Project (or an advanced degree and 5+ years of highly applicable experience).

    • Experienced in analyzing and querying schedule data (including Schedule Metrics)

    • Experience in leading project planning exercises, as well as the creation and maintenance of Integrated Master Plans and Master Schedules (IMP/IMS)

    • Ability to decompose statements of work into basic elements and transform them into a workable program plan

    • Ability to assist Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning/scheduling and cost estimating tasks

    • Demonstrated experience with ancillary scheduling tools (Milestones Pro, Schedule Risk analysis software, etc..)

    • Ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization with strong presentation/communication skills

    • Ability to thrive in a deadline-oriented environment

    • Security Clearance - The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.  U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

     Desired Qualifications:

    • Strong familiarity with EVMS tools such as APEX EV, ForProject, or others

    • Familiarity with applicable Government standards and regulations, especially pertaining to program planning and Earned Value compliance

    • Conversant in basic product development principles and processes, including Agile software development

    The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
