Job Summary:
The Operations Globalization department manages RMD’s Operations strategy to drive global growth, partnering with Mission Area and Factory Operations leadership, as well as other support functions, to identify international requirements, create resource plans and execute across regions, customers, and products.
RMD is currently hiring a Global Operations Project Manager to join the growing Ops Globalization department. The successful candidate will report to the Associate Director for Operations Globalization and will be a key team member, engaging directly with program and factory personnel on multiple international projects. A successful candidate will communicate with internal customers to identify, assess, and collaborate to minimize risk and capture opportunities. As well as manage moderate sized projects and/or processes with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Support International program bids, proposals, and early Gate activities.
Partner with established RTX landed companies (Raytheon UK, Raytheon ELCAN) on new manufacturing opportunities/investigations, support licensing and technical data transfers.
Support international Make/Buy/Where analysis and ongoing Offset/Localization Strategy projects like Made in MENA (Middle East, North Africa)
Support various cross-business and cross-functional international strategic initiatives as required.
Support domestic and international supplier assessments, including MRAs.
Support new supplier facility design or facility renovations at international locations.
Ongoing collaboration with Contracts and Offset Regional managers for support of Offset projects, managing partnerships with Mission Areas and Make Centers to ensure continued alignment and support.
Ongoing collaboration with Global Supply Chain on supplier transition planning, RESA events, and BOM characterizations
Collaborate across Operations support functions such as Ops Engineering, Security, EHSS for project support and alignment.
Domestic and International travel required.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial or Systems Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or another related field.
8 years of progressively responsible related experience OR an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
"Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date".
"U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."

Experience with factory design, work cell optimization, overall factory workflow

Experience with EX/IM and Global Trade policies
Experience with MRAs and MRL assessments/readiness
Experience with RMD Execution Systems (PRISM, SAP, MRP)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated, ability to work independently on simultaneous projects.
Ability to build and influence a cross functional network.
Attention to detail when documenting and creating presentations.
