Collins Aerospace is seeking to hire a M****anager, Supply Chain Contracts (Subcontract) to join our team. This role is a strategic partner within the Mission Systems Supply Chain organization, particularly focused on the Subcontracts team.  This position coordinates with business partners on supply chain contract matters, manages a complex portfolio of supplier contracts, communicates with Mission Systems supply chain leadership, to develop, implement, and achieve short- and long-term business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drafts, generates, negotiates, interprets, and manages complex contract documents, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules and requests, to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives

• Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters, including government procurement and cost control guidelines

• Manages small-sized projects, primarily focused on projects affiliated with various U.S. Government Contract programs, requiring excellent organizational skills

• Reviews contractual terms and conditions for their acceptability, as well as assessing the risk and impact. Analyzes contracts to ensure compliance to company policies, government and commercial specifications and other requirementsP

• repares negotiation plans and contract reviews on a regular basis

• Uses legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and subsequently addressed through development of unique contract terms and conditions

• Briefs team leader and other functional areas on contract status, risk mitigation and contingency plans based on developed recommendations

• Identifies opportunities to streamline workflow and improve quality of work product

• Track and report key functional metrics to improve effectiveness

• Represents the organization on legal issues concerning contract matters

• Provides legal advice on contractual matters and contract administration

• Maintains historical legal records

Qualifications/ Experience Needed:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience 

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate or Advanced Degree in Business Administration preferred

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
