Manual Machinist / Manual Module Support Technician, 2nd shift (Relocation*) (Onsite)

Machine production parts per process book and drawing specifications per established quality and production standards.

• Relocation will be considered on a case-by-case basis

Primary Responsibilities:

• Machine production parts per process book and drawing specifications per established quality and production standards.

• Obtains necessary stock, fixtures, tooling and gaging

• Sets up manual machines for other classifications to operate

• Sets up & Operates manual machines necessary to produce module parts. For example: Lathes, grinders, jig bore, drills, radial drill, presses, saws

• Operates NC equipment

• Performs machinist duties

• Performs ID/OD grinder duties

• Performs in-process inspection as a certified operator

• Performs CMM and other required inspection

• May be assigned to support functions such as: Deburr, Tumble, Part Mark

• Performs computer transactions

• Moves parts to, from, within module

• Cleans machines

• General housekeeping

• Provides direction to Machining Module Support Tech

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferably technical school background

• Blueprint and routing reading and comprehension

• Experienced with hand tools and measuring equipment

• Experience with basic computer skills such as log on, data entry and retrieval

• Demonstration of basic educational competencies (i.e. reading, writing)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating NC equipment and manual machines
