Job Summary:
This position is an onsite role.
This is a third shift position which includes an 12% added pay differential.
Provide Operations Engineering support to the Circuit Card Assembly Factory located in Andover, MA. Primary responsibilities will be to support the Operation of Conformal Coating Process lines. This includes automated and programable equipment, for multiple products, and multiple coating types. Additional responsibilities include process improvement, cycle time reduction, defect prevention and operator support. Individual will be required to participate in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process base line metrics, SPC implementation, Defect prevention, and process data analysis.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Creating and overseeing projects using risk management techniques
- Translating engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation
- Computer and machine programming for manufacturing automation
- Dispositioning of discrepant hardware
- Leading root cause and corrective action investigations to solve problems and prevent recurrence
- Participate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodology
- Manufacturing process development and support
- Conducting safety / ergonomic assessments
- Interaction with senior personnel on technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations and / or suppliers.
- Tool/fixture development to drive ergonomics and reductions in cost and/or defects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a https://U.S. government issued security clearance is required. https://U.S. citizenship is required, as only https://U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3 & IPC-CC-830
- Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principals.
- Experience with supporting circuit card assembly production floor, (process and/or quality focus).
- Specialized Tooling Development (Jigs, Fixtures, Specialized Packaging Development)
- Masking Development (Boots, Die Cuts, automated masking dispensing)
- Experience/Knowledge of IPC-CC-830 Coatings – Urethane, Silicone, Parylene, Acrylic, and Epoxy
- Experience supporting the following equipment:
- PVA Delta 8
- Nordson automated Dispenser
- Knowledge and ability to apply Six Sigma principles and techniques.
- Experience in DFMA principles
- Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and results oriented.
- Innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement and keeps pace with advances in technology.
- Detail oriented with strong coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a team setting as well as individually.
- Proven written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.

- Proficiency with CAD solid modeling tools
- Active DoD security clearance (confidential)
- Experience with automated equipment and programming
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Teams, Excel, PPT, Project, Word)
