    Position Role Type:

    Onsite

    As part of the Logistics team, this role will be focused on recognizing safety, quality and productivity risks in logistics and manufacturing practices; and will play an active role in designing processes for their elimination.  This role will also provide an opportunity to hone skills in data collection and analysis; and will learn to leverage trends in data to make recommendations and design solutions for improving safety, maximizing efficiency, and driving down costs. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June to December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2023.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Work in a collaborative team environment with both salary and hourly employees. 

    • Assist a cross-functional team to develop unique solutions to ensure proper warehousing and delivery of materials to our internal customers.   

    • Work with logistics management team and staff to understand current processes, identify and minimize waste by applying LEAN principles. 

    • Facilitate Field Loadable Software work function by applying continuous support through program maintenance. 

    • Help to develop personnel performance metrics in order to increase safety and efficiency. 

    • Analyze current and historical data to recognize trends and prioritize process improvement projects that will have the greatest impact on the business. 

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
