This position requires a highly motivated self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives in a demanding environment.
This individual will sit ONSITE at our Collins Aerospace location in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Creates and maintains master production schedule (MPS).
Facilitate the Supply Review meetings. Review MPS with Manufacturing, Programs, Demand Planning, Procurement and associated representatives
Utilize consensus decision-making techniques to arrive at the best possible MPS to support the business goals and objectives.
Develop collaborative relationships between cross functional stakeholders and leadership to ensure cross functional areas understand and support the supply plan
Data Integrity Management in SAP and other systems as needed
Troubleshoot system issues to resolve errors and maintain data & plan integrity.
Manage Master Schedule to meet business objectives. Example includes Finished Goods Inventory targets
Communicate and drive resolution of supply concerns with demand planning, VSL, contracts, supply chain, operations, and other cross functional stakeholders as needed
Support SIOP process and cadence meetings
Resolve Supply / Demand alignment issues
Support Short Lead-time Request / Availability Quoting Process and provide Critical Path analysis
Analize impact for requested schedule changes
Action identification / capability coordination and communication
MRP Exception message review and resolution
Strategic Independent Demand entry and management
MPS Adherence review
Product Group Maintenance
Assesses changes and improves processes as necessary.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Master Scheduler or Material/production Planning experience preferred.
Understanding of the Sales and Operations planning process and its connection to the Master Schedule.
Ability to mediate discussions between stakeholders with varying concerns and arrive at consensus
Experience using MRP/ERP systems (SAP APO preferred)
Experience in Microsoft Office Software (https://i.e. Excel, Visio etc.)
Proficient problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
Ability to both communicate and present at all levels of the organization
