Starting Wage: $17.46

Responsibilities to Anticipate

• Transport material, employees, and equipment over the road and intra-facility, by operating various types of material handling equipment and vehicles.
• A valid Class “D” Arizona Drivers License is required, per appropriate regulations.
• Prepare, load, and secure materials and equipment for shipments.
• Coordinate and dispatch materials movement to ensure safe and timely shipments.
• Receive, transport, store, sort and distribute products, materials, tools, and supplies, including all classes of explosives.

Qualifications You Must Have

• High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
• Must be able to work any designated shift to include overnight.
• Must have 2 years of experience operating lift trucks (forklifts)
• Must pass written test
• Must pass a practical demonstration of skills using a forklift within 30 days after hired.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance prior to the start date.  U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• The ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF) clearance.

Additional Details

This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement.  Wage and work place conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement.  Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
