    A co-op in this position will work closely with engineers supporting the development of aircraft mechanical cargo systems with the design, integration, and test. In addition, you will be working cross functionally with Customer Teams, HW & SW Designers, Test Engineers & Technicians, Supply Chain, Production & Quality, and Field Service Engineers.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Performs engineering work and applied research, development, and design for new products to ensure quality standards and functional objectives are met.

    • Researches, develops, designs, and tests mechanical components and systems.

    • Resolves day-to-day technical problems on the production lines to minimize disruption.

    • Participates in technical preparations for new product development and implementation to ensure new products meet the required specifications.

    • Operates CAD software to design components.

    • Completes drawing designs as required to facilitate the engineering process.

    • Consults with engineers, customers, vendors and other stakeholders on existing and potential engineering projects or products.

    • Produces products according to specifications, using the most cost effective and efficient means.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
    • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
    • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0

    Preferred Qualifications

    • At least two (2) years or sophomore standing in an undergraduate study of Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering.
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
    • Prior engineering co-op or internship experience.
