    Displays Products is looking for an Engineering Co-op to join our team

    The student will have the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic group of engineers, designers, and technicians across optical, mechanical, and electrical domains. The candidate will gain experience in opto-mechanical design, design validation testing, and assembly and test processes for current, new and cutting-edge display technologies.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    This role will be involved in mechanical engineering design and development processes as well as support of mechanical engineering activities throughout the business.

    Technical Requirements we are looking for include:

    •           Hands on experience working with design software to create mechanical models, drawings and assembly drawings; Siemens NX experience preferred

    •           Ability to reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings; GD&T knowledge desired.

    •           Experience using mechanical test lab equipment to support execution of test plans

    •           Understanding of design for manufacturing and assembly principles

    Key Competencies we are seeking in our team members:

    •           Must be a highly motivated self-starter and can work independently towards task completion

    •           Efficiently prioritize, organize and execute on given tasks

    •           Strong written and communication skills; interfacing with product development teams

    •           Ability to be adaptive and take initiative

    •           Work with a dynamic group of engineers, designers, and technicians across optical, mechanical, and electrical domains.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

    Currently enrolled in an accredited engineering co-op university program; must have successfully completed all 2nd year courses of enrolled engineering program.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen
