    Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RI&S) business and Product Support within the Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services (CIS), is seeking a Mission Assurance Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the quality function for various programs including Patriot R&R. The successful candidate will also be the main interface with DCMA in support of sell off and all related activities.

    The selected professional will provide Mission Assurance support to assure quality tasking is accomplished on time and as defined in planning. This position will require extensive interface with DCMA. The selected team member will act as the voice of the customer to assure mission success.

    Responsibilities to anticipate:

    • Demonstrate a working knowledge of electronic/electrical assembly/manufacturing processes, integration and test operations and procedures.
    • Review contractual documentation to assure correct and consistent flow down of customer mission and/or quality requirements to the program leadership team and functional teams.
    • Perform product and process audits for compliance to various standards and product requirements.
    • Support program, corporate/business and third-party audits, and assessments.
    • Communicate program goals, objectives, requirements, and customer feedback to all Mission Assurance disciplines and cross-functional program teammates to ensure alignment.
    • Identify cost, schedule, quality, and technical risk.
    • Team with program and all functions in programmatic and technical problem resolution.
    • Communicate program goals, objectives, requirements, and customer feedback
    • Ensure strong customer relationships and confirm customer corrective action requests (CARs) are validated and processed.
    • Act as the main interface to manage communication with customers and government representatives (DCMA).
    • Document program nonconformance authority based on contractual requirements.
    • Lead multi-functional teams in problem resolution and continuous improvement activities with an emphasis on CORE, Lean practices and other critical thinking improvement methods and resources.

    You’re highly skilled in:

    • Minimum 8 years of related experience in Quality or Engineering in development, production, test, and sustainment (Depot) in a high-reliability environment
    • Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems IS09001 and AS9100
    • Ability to collaborate with program cross-functional team members to develop practical solutions to complex problems
    • Strong Quality data extraction and analysis skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PDF, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to lead, nurture, and mentor others in routine settings and difficult situations
    • Experience supporting business and functional deliverables
    • Strong written/verbal presentation skill
    • U.S Citizenship required as the applicant must have the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance within first year of start date.

    Required Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.  and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.

    You are a great match with:

    • Prior experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
    • Understanding of typical industry standards including IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-620 and IPC-A-610.
    • The ability to maintain positive relationships with program management, cross-functional program leadership, suppliers, customers, and government representatives.     
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
