We are seeking an innovative, talented, and experienced Principal Systems Engineer to provide engineering support to a team responsible for maintaining and operating a high priority operational system at a high level of availability.
Responsibilities include providing support to Mission Planning functions, including developing and maintaining scripts/web tools, software analysis and troubleshooting, integration and test support, identifying processes improvements and software enhancements, and coordinating with other internal and external engineering teams. The candidate must have the ability to be a technically minded problem-solver, be able to focus on the task at hand, follow through on the prescribed plan, and the ability to be flexible and think under pressure. The ideal candidate would be highly motivated and have a strong desire to learn and have a team player attitude.
Other duties include providing inputs to CONOP development, RFCs, and future baselines/capabilities. Responsible for carrying pager (approx. one week every two months) and responding to anomalies.

•Software skills/Web development skills (PERL, JAVA, HTML/XML, C++, SQL, Wiki, JavaScript, MySQL, Linux)

•An active and in-scope TS/SCI with CI Poly
Desired Skills:
•Knowledge and experience with Mission Planning system
•Knowledge of Software Development processes

Typically Required Education:
A Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred) and typically a minimum of 5 years' of prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' of related experience or equivalent experience experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
