Position is based in Colorado Springs, CO.
Successful candidate of the Engineering Support team within the program, will be responsible for performing analysis of test event data and coordinating observations and resolutions across various Development and Test teams as well as assisting with coordination with the Missile Defense Agency customer. In addition, responsibilities include the following: Assist with the planning, scheduling and development of verification analysis tools. Assist with or support the coordination, development and maintenance of analysis and test tracking tools. Ensure proper backup/archiving of test products and analysis datasets (DM)
Required Technical Skills:
Seeking a motivated data analyst to support analysis of missile tracking and models in the test bed.
This individual will be a part of a focused technical team verifying and validating metrics, statistics and descriptive analysis of test data from Systems in development in support of national security.
The candidate will participate in research and analysis to identify meaningful metrics, patterns and trends from the test datasets, and use statistical methods to validate or reject hypotheses about the data.
Techniques may include visualization, simulation, and system modeling to achieve the desired analysis results.
The candidate should possess technical skills to assist in the development of software tools to evaluate software, algorithms and processes used to support the program element of the System.
Security Clearance: An active in-scope Secret U.S. security clearance
Experience:
Experience in message-based analysis of complex systems, or other analysis experience.
Experience with Object oriented coding skills (i.e. Python, Java, etc.), or ability to learn these.
Experience with the Linux environment. Experience with using and maintaining relational databases desired.
Experience in the use of software test and analysis tools.
Desired skills:
Python programming experience.
Bash or similar scripting experience.
Excellent sense of how data "tells a story."
Use of spreadsheets for data analysis and associated instruments.
Experience in manipulation of large data sets.
Development of software test and analysis instruments.
Development and automation of data management processes and instruments.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Security+ certification.
Typically Required Education:
Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred) with typically 5 years' of related experience or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
