    Raytheon Technologies is seeking successful candidate for this position as a Demand / Supply Production Control role within the Advanced Product Center North Texas Operations group. This pivotal role will operate in multiple shop floor and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule.

    Primary responsibilities will include:

    •Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.

    •Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed.

    •Working daily to confirm material supply and demands.

    •Preparing work orders for production and work closely with supply controller for the purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.

    •Coordinating cross-functional interdepartmental activity as needed (i.e. with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, programs, logistics).

    •Working with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.

    •Taking corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.

    •Reporting on and troubleshooting MRP system generated exceptions.

    •Reconciling quarterly inventory cycle counts.

    •This role will work closely with the factory and operations teams, as well as be responsible for material inventory audits and movement of material to the factory.  In this role the ownership and use of metrics will be key to maintain system health and drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations.

    Requirements:

    •2 years of prior related experience ideally in a government contractor environment similar to Raytheon Technologies.

    •Must be a US Citizen with current/active Secret Clearance OR ability to obtain within 1 year of employment.

    •SAP knowledge and experience.

    •Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software

    •Knowledge of manufacturing processes and environment.

    •Experienced and effective communicator (presentation skills, written and verbal communication).

    •Ability to apply critical thinking techniques, using logic and reasoning to identify approaches to problems, and the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.

    •Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).

    •Experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering or related manufacturing engineering.

     Desired Skills:

    Motivated and takes on challenges with minimal direction, with the ability to see when something needs to be done and react accordingly.

    •Ability to understand complex systems and processes.

    •Ability to apply CORE concepts to improve departmental, factory related, and cross-departmental processes.

    •Strong analytical, problem solving, and business communication skills.

    Required Education (including Major):

    •BS / BA from an accredited university with a major in Operations, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
