Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a Network Administrator to join our team supporting the Air Operations Center Weapons System (AOC WS) Long Term Modernization and Sustainment Program (LTM&S) at the USAF customer site on Langley AFB, Hampton, Virginia.
This position requires experience in integration of complex information technology systems in a program with global reach supporting the warfighter. This person serves as a member of a team dedicated to hands-on integration of Command and Control systems into the best-in-class capability to deliver airpower.
The successful candidate will employ effective communication skills in face-to-face interactions with customers and other contractors. The candidate must be able to work independently, as well as collaborate in a team or working group setting.
Domestic and international travel may be required. Expected travel is less than 10%
The candidate should have detailed knowledge and experience with configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of relevant components in the AOC environment; to include, but not limited to, CISCO Unified Computing System (UCS), Cisco router & switches, Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls, SolarWinds, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), NetApp Clustered Data Ontap, and other network management systems and the implementation of any subsequent and future releases.
Responsibilities:
Support network integration, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting issues, document installation procedures, and migration to new versions and devices. This requires familiarization network architectures and connectivity requirements to:•Develop and document solutions to technical issues,
•Work with other teams to resolve discrepancy reports.
•Provide technical support with routing and network connectivity.
•Complete all applicable Agile Recurring Events (ARE), Fast Tracks (FT), and Critical Security Update (CSU) by applicable deadlines.
•Attend networking meetings as required.
•Complete and track lessons learned and metrics.
Required Skills:
•An active and in-scope Secret U.S. security clearance
•Security+ DoD 8570 certification, or higher.
•Five years of network administration.
•At least 3+ years of applicable experience in:◦CISCO IOS, NX-OS, UCS FI
•Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls
•Network design and configuration
•Networking/Infrastructure
•NetApp Clustered Data Ontap Fiber Channel, NFS, CIFS Storage
•Must possess a proven ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment as well as excellent attention to detail and customer support skills.
Desired Skills:
•One of the following certifications or higher is preferred but not required:◦CCNA Router and Switch,
•CCNA Data Center or
•CCNA Security
•NetApp Certified Data Administrator, Ontap
•Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator
•Experience with or knowledge of AOC WS operations and VMware highly preferred.

Education:
