Network RMF-Cyber Engineer

Location: Schriever, Aurora, Colorado

The selected Network RMF-Cyber will be a primary Network Engineer supporting the program. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise for the assessment of compliance of information systems with DoD RMF standards (review, verify and validate required DoD IA RMF documentations and artifacts using DoDI 8510.01/DoD Risk Management Framework). Candidate must have demonstrated experience in developing Cyber-secure Network device configurations (Firewalls, switches, routers). Some travel may be required depending on the work to be performed. This position will also support Network deployments as necessary.

Security Clearance:

An active Secret U.S. security clearance

Required Technical Skills and Experience:

• Current with DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements (Security + CE, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security)

• Responsible to maintain DoD 8570 certification for the full contract period

• Demonstrated network engineer with hands-on mid-level experience and knowledge of network design, development and testing methodologies

• Specific technical skills required include: 

          - A+solid understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols  

• Demonstrated network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting experience 

• Firewall experience with Juniper firewalls is a must and McAfee Sidewinder or Fortinet Fortigate a plus 

Desired Skills:

 - Familiar with RMF including hands on work with RMF topics, the assessment of compliance of information systems with DoD RMF standards (review, verify and validate required DoD IA RMF documentations and artifacts using DoDI 8510.01/DoD Risk Management Framework). 

Typically Required Education: 
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years' prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
