    Position Role Type:

    This position is for an established New Product Introduction professional. Manages and executes new program sourcing strategies while ensuring alignment with commodity strategies and low cost sourcing plans for sustainable supply chain development. Responsible for creating and implementing plans to ensure the new product sourcing strategy is in alignment with desired program outcomes.

    This will be a hybrid role (combination of onsite and remote work) based at our Uniontown, OH site.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Follows the Collins Aerospace best practice standard work for NPI processes.

    • Acts as liaison for engineering technology, material and component optimization, new product cost analysis, design readiness and manufacturing producibility.

    • Owns and is actively involved in sourcing strategy and vision with commodity management.

    • Manages procurement transactions.

    • Ensures development hardware and FAI delivery timelines are met and that changes are executed in a timely manner to support the project deliverables.

    • Supports supplier development activity.

    • Validates and refines cost reduction initiatives.

    • Coordinates with Procurement on negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications/Experience Needed:

    • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in supply chain/procurement with increasing levels of responsibility.

    • Program/Project buying experience, preferred.

    • Strategic sourcing experience preferred.
