Raytheon is seeking an experienced OCONUS Field Engineer with a focus in Electrical systems, to support a Dulles, VA based program. The candidate will be part of a team that provides continuous operations and maintenance support (O&M) to an existing OCONUS location with an emphasis on site operation and improvements (efficiencies). The candidate will monitor and review building management data and interface with the OCONUS and CONUS staff to address issues and develop solutions for implementation. The candidate may also be involved in smaller site upgrades and projects in addition to the routine O&M. This is a full time OCONUS position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the OCONUS site’s electrical systems routine O&M, to include the building management system and backup power systems such as generator, and UPS systems
Maintain all as-built designs, ensuring all changes at site are recorded and documented properly
Participate in future site design modifications and upgrades
Perform general O&M efforts as directed, and manage the work order and inventory database accordingly
Analyze data from the site’s monitoring system to support design efforts to expand equipment capabilities or improve system efficiencies
Work at site (OCONUS) with the O&M team as the lead electrician to oversee any electrical system maintenance and modification activities
Required Qualifications:
US Citizen with current Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or minimum Journeyman Electrician’s license, and equivalent combination of education and experience
8 years relevant hands-on experience
Active Journeyman Electrician’s license, or higher
Experience in critical power systems to include grid power, generator back-up, and battery back-up components and the associated switchgear
Deploy to the OCONUS site with scheduled leave every 3 months
Minimum commitment of 1 year at site
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with building management systems; operating, and monitoring
Familiarity with work order and inventory management systems such as Maximo
Crossed trained in other trades (HVAC, plumbing, structural, etc.)
Able to work in Dulles, VA when not deployed
