    We have an immediate opportunity for Plastics Technician A at our El Segundo site. You will bond, coat, mask, clean, rework and repair the full range of Raytheon RIS developmental and non-developmental mechanical and electronic assemblies from formal, released planning and work instructions. 

    In compliance with California's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $23.68-$38.77; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

    Typical Duties:

    • Performs staking & curing of adhesives on assemblies using released work instructions and engineering drawings.
    • Masks, de-masks, sprays & touches-up conformal coat on electronic and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, printed wiring boards, standard/non-standard modules, and unit assemblies. 
    • Creates fresh mixes for a variety of materials, including adhesives, conformal coat & paint kits, following specifications for proper mix ratios.
    • Utilizes a variety of equipment including the ionic cleaning system, spray booth, vacuum oven, and others.
    • Uses and operates microscopes, ovens, basic measuring devices, hand and power tools and equipment such as screwdrivers, torque tools and utilizes computer equipment to generate and maintain information within database; works from formal, controlled, written work instructions and electronic computer documentation.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    Requires experience working with minimal supervision to perform and complete assigned work.

    Must be a U.S. citizenship as the position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

    Desired Skills:

    Preferred 2 years of related experience in electro-mechanical assembly.

    Space build with dispense bonding, Conformal Coat, masking / de-masking, stencil and torque.
