    Our Surveillance and Network Systems (SNS) strategic business unit at Raytheon Intelligence & Space provides the warfighter with actionable information from an unblinking eye across the battlespace. By joining our SNS Product Assurance team you’ll have the opportunity to ensure compliance to standards for integrated sensor suites, precision targeting and multispectral Electro-Optical and Infrared (EO/IR) targeting systems and strategic and tactical ISR Systems.

    We are looking for a Quality Staff Technician (Preliminary Review Area Coordinator) to provide technical support within a Product Assurance team who collaborates and coordinates with Factory Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and other disciplines to proactively and efficiently resolve issues that arise during the build and test of complex defense equipment.  This position will reside in RI&S’ Product Assurance team within the Strategic and Applied Mission Assurance directorate with this role directly supporting the SNS strategic business unit.

    You’re highly skilled in:

    • Minimum (8) years of experience as a quality inspector or comparable experience
    • Prioritize work with multiple customers
    • Ability to self-manage daily tasks
    • Ability to understand and communicate with engineering teams, facilitators, and managers
    • Ability to recognize and enforce compliance to Raytheon Technologies’ policies and procedures
    • Ability to perform quality inspections with minimal mentor oversight
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience using calibrated inspection measurement resources such as micrometers, calipers, microscope, and rulers
    • Experience with drawing, blueprint and workmanship standard requirements.
    • Experience with PRISM, Production SAP, and CMES 
    • Ability to inspect to the Solder Institute of Printed Circuits (IPC) Joint Standard 001E, Military Specifications (MIL Specs), and Process Specifications
    • Ability to handle and lift items up to 20 lbs
    • U.S. Citizenship status is required as the position will require the ability to access U.S. only data systems.

    Required Education

    High School Diploma or Equivalent
