The DTE Technician shall provide technical operating knowledge (electrical and mechanical), as well as "self-sufficiency” training to the in-country support personnel. The DTE Technician technical assistance support personnel shall also provide a direct link to the Test Set manufacturer for follow on support if required on all units. The DTE support personnel shall provide hands on maintenance support, operational training and the necessary support to the PAT 243M, PAT 244M, and PAT 247M Depot Test Sets.  The functional details and knowledge associated with each task performed by the DTE Technician shall be made available / transferred to UAE military technicians via on-the-job-training principles and concepts. The DTE Technician shall structure support to facilitate UAE military technicians in becoming self-sufficient in DTE support activities. All DTE Technician actions in support of the UAE shall be in accordance with standard US Army maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures as stipulated within AR 750-1.  This position is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Required Skills: The DTE Technicians supporting the above PATRIOT Test Stations shall have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the operation, maintenance, and sustainment of DTE for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing PATRIOT electronics Assemblies and Subassemblies. Additionally, personnel shall have demonstrated knowledge of the operation and maintenance of the PATRIOT CLET Coolant Test Set Station and the PAO Oil Processor Test Set Station.  The DTE Technician shall have extensive practical experience to effectively operate and maintain depot test equipment test stations.  The DTE Technician shall be experienced in reading and understanding engineering drawings, schematics, books, technical documents, and PC software.  Further, the DTE Technician shall have demonstrated skills in using general tools, commercial test equipment and in replacing component parts on circuit card assemblies. Have experience in the implementation / execution of standard US Army materiel maintenance management concepts and practices.  A Secret Security Clearance is required.

Desired Skills: A minimum of 6 to 8 years hands on knowledge and experience operating, maintaining, and sustaining PAT 243, and PAT 244 test stations or equivalent test stations. Demonstrated experience working on Configuration 3 system assemblies and subassemblies. Experience working in and with a Middle East customer directly. Knowledge and experience in maintaining and sustaining DTE test station equipment.

Required Education: Bachelor or Associate degree in engineering or Applied Science form an accredited university or High School graduate with equivalent work experience in the basis of two (2) years’ experience for each year of education (10 years of experience without a degree).
