    Control & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) is a dynamic engineering organization responsible for all aspects of engine control and diagnostic system development including requirements analysis & definition, system & software (SW) architecture, algorithm design, and product SW design, verification & validation. CDS is seeking a SW Verification Lead responsible for Offboard SW Systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead verification and SW release management team working within an Agile framework across multiple projects
    • Provide strategic recommendations, technical expertise, and guidance on complex SW V&V
    • Conduct Test Readiness Reviews and Verification Reviews with Customers
    • Responsible for Integration Test Plan and execution in target environment, System and Regression Test
    • Ensure full SW V&V at all levels incl integration in target environment while working closely with Development Team, Customers, Stakeholders and SMEs
    • Responsible for Verification Environment incl maintenance and documentation
    • Work with Quality Assurance including audits ensuring all process and procedures followed and artifacts retained
    • Provide required documentation and regular status updates to manager and project team leaders
    • Troubleshoot code and build issues, support deployments
    • Responsible for field support of released SW, conducting investigations and communicating status internally and externally
    • Provide leadership and direction in the implementation, adherence and continuous improvement of SW development processes and procedures

    Basic Qualifications:

    • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree (Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science) with relevant experience in complex SW development and verification.
    • Travel Requirements: 10% for testing at Customer Site.
    • US Citizenship or US Person required due to government contracts.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
    • Solid track record of achieving results in technical leadership role.
    • Outstanding cross discipline communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams.
    • Proven ability to drive process improvement in a technical organization.
    • Demonstrated Expertise in SW Verification & Validation, functional coverage, code coverage, traceability, methodologies, automation, quality assurance practices, SW engineering process.
    • Excellent troubleshooting, investigation, problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
    • Experience with Java, Python, Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps, AWS, SQL.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed to interface with Development Team, Customers, Stakeholders and SMEs.
    • Desire for continuous learning and innovation.
    • US security clearance preferred; willing to obtain and maintain.
