    Collins Aerospace – CAS currently has a Principal Financial Analyst position vacancy. This position is for an Experienced Financial Planning and Analysis professional. This individual will perform financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans. They will also be responsible for developing analysis, projections and conducting small projects.

    Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Executes financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans.
    • Reviews, analyzes, and interprets financial and budgetary reports to develop observations and preliminary recommendations.
    • Develops P&L, balance sheet and cash flow analysis and projections.
    • Develops analysis on budgets, forecasts, inventory, and / or sales margins.
    • Provides interpretation of financial data in spreadsheets, charts, and reports.
    • Audits financial practices to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations, laws, and standards.
    • Conducts projects, completing ad hoc analysis.
    • Analyzes rates of return, depreciation, and investments.
    • Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and prepares reports on findings to make budgeting and cost recommendations to management.
    • Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance, operations, supply chain, programs, engineering, and other areas of business for financial and strategic planning purposes.
    • Creates financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development and new marketing strategies.
    • Provides support for pricing and sales; assists in bundled pricing strategy development.
    • Provides program reporting and analysis, including EAC support and royalty payment calculation
    • Develops and maintains financial information systems.
    • Leads LEAN process improvement; automates/streamlines close and reporting processes for accuracy and efficiency.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Typically, a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
    • Advanced Degree in a related field and typically a minimum 3 years’ experience OR
    • In absence of a degree, typically 9 years of relevant experience is required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • P&L forecasting
    • Project Manager
    • Accounting
    • Financial Accounting Degree

    The salary range for this role is $75,000 USD - $161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
