of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, provide the enterprise hybrid-cloud backbone for product development and testing for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset. This will include a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.
The Principal Infrastructure IaC Engineer will be well versed in the use of tools such as Ansible and Terraform to implement and support the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution for our programs.
What You Will Do
You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with deployment, implementation, modernization, and support of IaC solutions
You will support software tool customization and automation including deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program needs utilizing Ansible Playbooks
You will assist with integration of the selected platform provisioning tool such as Terraform/VMWare
You will assist with design/architecture/development and support of build/test pipeline and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on premise computing environments
You will assist engineers with specialized tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices towards the solution
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics and 8 years of related work experience
Experience with Ansible automation frameworks
Experience with Linux System Administration (E.g. RHEL 6.0+)
Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)
Active and current Secret Security Clearance is required on day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks
Container development and orchestration (E.g. Kubernetes/Docker)
VM provisioning (E.g. VMWare / Vsphere)
Experience with programming languages (E.g. Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go)
Experience with scanning tools (E.g. Nessus, Fortify)
General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization
Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration
Current CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain
Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. Jira / Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory)

Location: Aurora, CO
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
