ensing & effects capabilities from seabed to space, multi-level operation analysis, integrated system of system architectures and operations research. We are in the front end of the business pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity to establish next-generation mission solutions from system-level up to campaign-level.
What You Will Do
As a Principal M&S Engineer, you will partner with our portfolio leads dedicated to delivering best-in-class Raytheon products for the warfighter through modeling, simulation, and analysis. Your work will define how we show mission effectiveness of systems and system-of-systems operating in complex threat environments. You will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring delivery of our mission simulations, virtual prototypes, and system emulators that represent a variety of mission technologies including sensors, effectors, communications, command and control, and more. This will include integrating live-virtual-constructive (LVC) simulations with other simulations, custom software, commercial-off-the-shelf software (COTS), government furnished models, hardware, and user interfaces.
Responsibilities will include:
Working closely with our internal and external customers to understand requirements.
Reviewing design plans for developing and delivering modeling and analysis needs.
Reviewing analysis plans and ensuring plans align with customer objectives.
Reviewing task breakdowns and schedules for completing modeling and analysis activities.
Managing budgets for modeling and analysis activities.
Reviewing presentation material for technical reviews.
Reviewing analysis results and presenting to leadership and customers.
Ensuring all work products satisfy customer requirements.
What You Will Learn
In this organization you will be exposed to a variety of mission systems under the supervision and guidance of subject matter experts. You will learn how LVC concepts are applied across the Systems Engineering V-Model. You will also see how modeling and simulation is applied across the analysis pyramid to best inform our programs.
