Department Overview:
The quantification of Residual Stress (RS) in jet engine hardware is a critical need Pratt and Whitney faces as the company seeks to optimize part performance. The SME is expected to independently define customer needs and work-scope; develop a targeted solution to address the RS requirement; and manage a large portfolio of jobs using competing resources to deliver meaningful results.
