Job Summary:

In this role you will work with a team of skilled Software Engineers developing Satellite Ground Stations Software.

We are seeking software engineering professionals to work onsite in our Aurora, CO location.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Perform software development of large-scale software solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years' relevant or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

• Must have an active https://U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance

• Experience developing in Java and Python in a Linux environment.

• Experienced developing with XSLT/XML

• Experienced developing a Cloud Based Environment

• Experienced with Modern DevOps Pipeline

• Experience with Agile Development

• Experience with Atlassian Tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.

This position is onsite at our campus in spectacular Aurora, CO.  The campus is surrounded by 91 miles of walking and hiking trails, including the nearby High Line Canal Trail. The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
