ms Engineering team tasking while directly contributing to that technical tasking for the program. These responsibilities include managing all system and subsystem requirements, providing SE technical oversight during integration and test activities, leading verification and validation efforts for the system, and providing SE expertise in troubleshooting and failure investigations. The SE role requires a high level of technical proficiency in the area of software integration, multi-disciplined coordination, and establishing and maintaining relationships with the customer technical community.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Update and maintain all system and subsystem level requirements specifications
SE technical lead for verification and validation efforts, ensuring all requirements are being assessed during Formal Qualification Testing
SE technical lead, working closely with the Systems and Software IPTLs and Chief Engineer on a variety of program technical tasks
Lead technical conversations with the customer
Become the knowledgeable and ‘go-to’ Systems Engineer for the program
Help to onboard new team members, mentor, and guide them using core Systems Engineering skills
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Eight (8) years of experience in one or more of the following technical domains:
Systems engineering, architecture, and/or design
System performance and analysis
Algorithms and signal processing
Modeling and simulation (for example 6-DOF)
Mission planning and analysis
RF Sensor sub-systems
Communication systems or subsystems
Software architecture, design, development, integration, and verification
Configurable Logic / Firmware / VHDL architecture, design, development, integration, and verification
Four (4) years of systems engineering experience with exposure in at least four of the following:
Interfacing with customers
Developing CONOPS
Developing & Refining System Architecture
Developing & Refining System Requirements
Performing Functional & Physical Analyses
Performing Functional Allocation
Creating & Maintaining Specifications
Developing Requirements Verification Strategies and Plans
Developing Integrated Systems Security Solutions
Subassembly Integration & Verification
System Integration & Verification
Active and transferable https://U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
https://U.S. citizenship is required, as only https://U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
Experience with Cost Account Management or Earned Value Management
Past work experience in a challenging fast paced environment
MS or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics
Experience using Agile framework development methods/processes
Experience using Azure DevOps methods/tools
Experience with Matlab, C, C#, C++, Python
Ability to perform trade studies to optimize system performance
Familiarity with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures
Familiarity with DoD customer infrastructure
Understanding of Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
Familiarity with system safety, reliability, or mission planning
Experience evaluating and mitigating technical risks
Prior work experience giving technical briefs or presentations
Strong communication skills
